Many of us at Camping Cheque HQ in the UK already use Twitter to follow friends, family and the odd (interesting) celeb. It's a great way to keep in touch with what's going on and it's amazing just how often you pick up useful snippets of information.
We have now set up a Twitter account for Camping Cheque as we see this as a great way to keep you informed of latest campsite news, travel updates, ferry offers etc.
What is Twitter?
Twitter is a service for people to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent messages. People write short updates, often called "tweets" of 140 characters or fewer.
Following someone simply means receiving their Twitter updates. When you follow someone, every time they post a new message, it will appear on your Twitter home page. New messages are added to your home page as people post them, so you always get the updates in real time. When you log in, you can see what the latest updates are. Twitter offers other ways to follow people too: you can get updates from certain people on your phone!
Stay on high quality 3,4 and 5 star campsites in low season for just 15€ (or £13.95) per night. Choose from a selection of 622 campsites in 29 countries. By the sea, in the mountains or in the country, all our campsites are situated in wonderful locations which are waiting to be discovered.
